Isla Intersections Grand Opening: 54 Units of Permanent Supportive Housing

It’s official – Isla Intersections is now open! This new, 54-unit Permanent Supportive Housing in South Central LA offers apartments and amenities for formerly unhoused renters – including Veterans. The Annenberg Foundation is proud to support Isla’s paseo, featuring a unique “living lung” design to help mitigate air and noise pollution, a greywater irrigation system, a shared street for pedestrians and cyclists, and more.

Special thanks to Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson, Mayor Karen Bass, Holos Communities, Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects [LOHA], American Family Housing, Geis Construction, Primus Building Solutions, CIT Bank, Enterprise Community Partners, the Los Angeles Housing Department, and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles for helping to make this project a reality for the community.
