For the Champions Live Here Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program, the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee has selected 56 organizations that are inclusive, collaborative, resourceful, innovative, and focused on driving impact in youth development, jobs + economic opportunity, and social justice.
This week, explore the work of five spotlighted organizations, all committed to creating real change and reaching the many neighborhoods in need across the Los Angeles region: Jovenes, Kedren Health, Kids in the Spotlight, LA Conservation Corps, and Las Fotos Project.
The Annenberg Foundation will provide special sessions of Annenberg Alchemy nonprofit leadership training for all 56 Champion organizations next year!
Jovenes works to develop pathways for personal and professional growth so young people can move into permanent housing and make meaningful contributions to the community we share.
Kedren Health provides quality integrated health and behavioral health services to children, youth, adults, and families irrespective of immigration status, residency, language, culture, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or one’s ability to pay.
Kids in the Spotlight is committed to help foster youth confront, address, and overcome the negative statistics of traumatizing experiences such as poverty, abuse, neglect and rejection by providing a platform for them to heal and shine through the power of storytelling and filmmaking.
LA Conservation Corps is an environmentally focused youth development organization, providing opportunities for young adults throughout Los Angeles who are out-of-work and out-of-school to explore new pathways to meaningful career and education opportunities while improving the quality of life in Southern California.
Las Fotos Project’s mission is to elevate the voices of teenage girls from communities of color through photography and mentoring, empowering them to channel their creativity for the benefit of themselves, their community, and future careers.
