LOS ANGELES COUNTY | 2025

Fire Relief

While the first week of 2025 will be remembered for catastrophic wildfires powered by historic, hurricane-force winds, the Eaton and Palisades fires have since galvanized inspiring displays of generosity, compassion and resilience.

There is a long road ahead for the Los Angeles region and those working tirelessly to support our communities in crisis. The Annenberg Foundation is working closely with nonprofit organizations and first responders on the ground. Learn more below.

Fire Relief Grants

Nonprofits supported by Annenberg grants provide services for the most vulnerable — including the elderly, children and families, foster youth, people who already were experiencing homelessness, and pets. Our grants importantly help ensure that displaced day, domestic and outdoor workers whose livelihoods have been upended also are able to receive direct cash assistance or essential items and food through community-based organizations.

The teams at Annenberg will continue to focus on – and work closely with – those serving the most crucial needs as we transition into the “relieve and recover” phases of support, preceding rebuilding in the years to come.
