Celebrating the 2nd Annual Peer to Pier

Building on the Annenberg Foundation’s 20-year history of providing support to the nonprofit community, the Foundation designed this day-long event to both celebrate nonprofit leaders, and to inspire them to greatness through continued professional development.

WHO: Presenters and Panelists – Wallis Annenberg (Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of the Annenberg Foundation), Leonard Aube (Executive Director, Annenberg Foundation), Bobby Shriver (Mayor of Santa Monica; Co-founder and Chairman (Product)RED), Judy Belk (Senior Vice President, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors), Wendy Burch (KTLA Anchor/Reporter and Founder and Chairperson, The Good News Foundation), Jennifer Ferro (General Manager, KCRW), Garlin Gilchrist, II (Director of New Media, Center for Community Change), Michael Sandel, Ph.D. (Professor of Government, Harvard University), Ernest Wilson, III, Ph.D. (Dean, USC Annenberg School of Communication for Communications and Journalism) and members from The Groundlings main company.

WHAT: Peer to Pier is an annual event open to alumni of Annenberg Alchemy’s Leadership Seminar and Alchemy, free nonprofit capacity building programs led by experts in the sector and nonprofit peers. Building on the Annenberg Foundation’s 20-year history of providing support to the nonprofit community, the Foundation designed this day-long event to both celebrate nonprofit leaders, and to inspire them to greatness through continued professional development. The day’s festivities will include remarks, seminars, lectures, leadership and panel discussions with a special workshop offered by The Groundlings demonstrating the importance of improvisation.
